The Toronto REIC Chapter is looking for people to volunteer for the Board of Directors or on a Committee. We are inviting you to serve your Chapter by submitting your name for consideration by e-mail to the current Chair of the Nominating Committee of the Toronto Chapter. We invite you to take this opportunity to share your knowledge and expertise gained from your career success and experience with the Toronto Chapter membership. We especially encourage “fresh blood”, i.e., younger Chapter Members who are still in the throes of developing their careers; and who may be able to bring fresh ideas for programs to enhance the meaning and the value of your membership in the Toronto Chapter. We currently are inviting FRI’s, FRI-E’s, FRI-A’s, CMR’s, CRES’s, CLO’s, CLP’s, CRP’s, ARP’s, CRF’s, CRU’s, CMOC’s, ARM’s, ACoMs and CPM’s to submit their names as soon as possible within the next few weeks. We are hopeful that several more people will come forward, either to serve on the Board of Directors or on a particular task-oriented Education & Events Committee and the Marketing & Communications Committee. There is no cost to serve other than an hour or two of your time once or twice a month. Board of Director’s meetings generally run an hour and a half, while Committee meetings only take about an hour. If you have ever wondered why things run the way they do, then get aboard and participate. If you would like to see some things changed then join in to change them. This is your opportunity to help make your Chapter a success and more meaningful to yourself. Please submit your name today. Why not do it now! Just press the Reply icon and submit your name to be either a Board Member or a Committee member or both! We are waiting to hear from you, but not for much longer. We are ready to welcome you NOW! Yours truly,
Clarence Wedge, CRF Chair, 2011 Nominations Committee |
